It’s summer in the forests of Eastern Europe’s Carpathian Mountains and some of the continent’s most charismatic creatures are hard at work raising their families. For a mother brown bear, she must find food for herself and her young cubs to fatten up before the arrival of winter. Meanwhile a pair of tiny lynx kittens must learn how to hunt and survive for themselves. Follow the many animals of this primeval world as they prepare for the freezing temperatures ahead and see how they coexist with humans who share this rugged landscape.
