The Oakland Raiders were a great football team throughout the early 1970s, unfortunately they could never get past the AFC Championship. But in 1976 the team finally beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in the AFC Championship and went on to win Super Bowl XI. Raiders’ legends John Madden, Ken Stabler, and Phil Villapiano discuss the 1976 season from their dominant regular season, to defeating the Steelers, to finally receiving the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
