While running crowd control at a downtown concert, Andy is hit by a stray bullet when a gunman shoots a young woman. Devastated by the seemingly senseless act of violence, Andy sets out to unravel the motive behind the shooting. Her investigation into the deceased girl’s roommate, Miranda, leads her to the young man responsible for the shooting. And in a harrowing takedown of the suspect, Officer McNally proves that even though she’s still a rookie, she's an excellent cop. Meanwhile, 15 Division’s new detective Jo Rosati investigates her own angle on the concert shooting as sparks fly between her and her former lover – Detective Luke Callaghan – and Dov works closely with the victim’s mother to try and bring some meaning to the young woman’s death.
