Voir Pole Position, The Complete Series - Episode 13

Tess and Dan are sent to warn Dr. Lungo, an experimental biologist creating a new species of animals, of a tidal wave due to hit his island in a few hours. Lungo's radio is out and as his work is top secret. Wheels is damaged when they bump into a mine in the water and Lungo chases Dan away. Tess gets in to deep water after she unknowingly helps Lungo's crooked assistants steal his papers. Wheels rescues her in time. Lungo finally sees Kuma, an animal he invented and believes Dan and Tess are there to help him. The assistants are caught and Wheels and Roadie help them get above the tidal wave by securing lines on top of a cliff and climbing up it.
