A seminar takes place at Jarl Varg's. His leadership style is up for discussion and new values are presented. Romance blooms between Arvid and Frøya, but an old flame resurfaces and spoils their plans. Dissatisfaction grows among the slaves, and Kark is forced to choose sides between the new and old slaves. Jarl Varg tries new tricks to acquire the Map to the West. Arvid finds a new source of income through the concept of protection money.
