When an uptight by the book guardian angel dog named Lance arrives on the scene Charlie feels threatened. To make matters worse Itchy has become enamored with the do-gooder Lance and becomes his partner. But when Lance and Itchy meet up with the menacing street dogs The Wild Pack Lance shows himself a coward. Charlie saves the day and restores his friendship with Itchy. In the end Anabelle sends Lance to Antartica -- seems his by-the-book mentality was also bugging heaven!
