Voir Pole Position, The Complete Series - Episode 3

A chicken falls into the hands of Dan and Tess, which is being pursued by some shady characters who have kidnapped the professor. Dan and Tess rescue the professor who leads them to the site of an ancient treasure buried inside a mountain. The opening of the mountain is elaborately guarded. The chicken is small enough to get inside where it hears a tune played on the flute which triggers the chicken to tap out a certain sequence which would move the boulder covering the opening. The thieves get inside first, but Roadie mimics the flute and the flute and the chicken respond which leads to the thieves being caught and the treasure being preserved.
