When David has to write a report on dogs Charlie and Itchy work to inspire him by relating events of how helpful pooches have been for mankind down through the ages. When these stories fail to inspire David and he falls asleep - the dogs take it upon themselves to write the report themselves an epic tale of the dogfighters of World War Two.
