EVA-03 arrives in Japan from the US, and Misato and the others head toMatsushiro to perform an activation experiment. After they begin theexperiment EVA-03 goes berserk, an Angel has parasitized it. Gendo identifiesEVA-03 as the Thirteenth Angel and directs Shinji and the others to destroy it.
