Usagi asks her family if they can officially keep Luna as a pet, but her little brother Shingo strongly objects due to his fear of cats. Instead, Shingo brings home a pet Chanela, a creature that smells like perfume. Shingo becomes so absorbed in the Chanela that he stops going to school, which worries Usagi.
