Couples (EP6)
Résumé de l'épisode 6
After they jump in to help capture a fleeing criminal, The Tick and Arthur meet Fiery Blaze and his loyal sidekick Friendly Fire. At Blaze's request, The Tick agrees to get the two teams together over dinner. And while The Tick would like to adopt more of the pyrotechnic pair's teamwork, including a secret handshake, Arthur isn't so sure. Meanwhile, when the abundance of superhero teams leaves her feeling lonely, Captain Liberty decides to get a dog. But when she cannot convince a pet store owner to sell her the one she really wants, she turns to Batmanuel for help. Over Arthur's objections, he and The Tick arrive for dinner with Fiery Blaze and Friendly Fire. Blaze's thinly veiled contempt for his sidekick makes Arthur uncomfortable and he urges Friendly Fire speak up to make and his displeasure known. However, when Friendly Fire takes the advice, he ends up moving in with The Tick and Arthur. Meanwhile, though Batmanuel agrees to help get Captain Liberty a purebred dog, he returns with a mutt. When Friendly Fire's presence begins to wear on them both, The Tick insists that it is Arthur's job to get rid of him. But when Friendly Fire asks him to join a group of disgruntled sidekicks, Arthur refuses to become just another second banana who hates his superhero. Tracking him down on patrol, Arthur makes it clear just how much he values his partnership with The Tick. And when he finds that his superhero is nothing without him, Friendly Fire returns to Fiery Blaze, too. Finally, after Captain Liberty asks Batmanuel to help rein in her unruly dog, a hand grenade takes care of the pup's feisty personality.
