Jesper Berg continues as Norway’s Prime Minister from within the US Embassy, but the Americans are not particularly thrilled over Jesper Berg's politics. They are afraid he will provoke the Russians even more. Berg eventually convinces the Americans to invite Sidorova into the embassy. Wenche is disappointed that Berg is still working for diplomatic solutions. She initiates a comprehensive resistance action, but also realizes that in a short matter of time she will be too ill to continue the fight.Bente is struggling with serving the Russians now that she knows they killed her husband. She understands that Petter and his friend Oskar are involved with the resistance movement. Through Oskar she manages to get in contact with Free Norway and offers them information about the Russians that frequent her restaurant. This information is so significant that it leads way for Free Norway to kidnap Sidorova. The kidnappers create a video where they interpret Jesper Berg’s words as a call to resistance and they set an ultimatum; The Russians must leave or they will kill her within 24 hours.
